Velotix is growing rapidly and looking for a Business Development Representative to act as a player/coach for all outbound lead generation activity. Velotix is providing access to the right data, to the right people, at the right time and for the right reason.
This is a unique opportunity for a go-getter who is ready to have significant stake in building and maintaining a sales pipeline and help build the go to market function at Velotix. This position requires a high energy, results-oriented, self-motivated, dynamic individual with the capability to collaborate with their team to deliver consistently as part of a rapid go-to-market strategy.
How will you do this?
- Directly impact the growth of the company by driving high levels of market awareness, interest, and engagement
- Work as part of a small, but rapidly growing, passionate team that is focused on helping companies build secure software
- Develop outbound processes and practices to deliver engagement with the sales organization
- Develop and evolve proper measurement to ensure consistent expectations and delivery from the Business Development function
Candidates will come from a diverse set of backgrounds and development roles, but all successful candidates ideally:
- Has a successful track record as a Business Development Representative or Business Development Manager with consistent overachievement against goals and quotas.
- Has experience in early-stage companies where strong communication to all levels of the company is foundational.
- Are comfortable with high-speed environments and making decisions with imperfect information.
- Self-motivated and able to solve problems both independently, within teams, and cross functionally.
- Has been successful in a performance-based environment
- Has fun while accomplishing challenging tasks
- Enjoys learning new things, high energy, self-motivated, and results oriented.
